Sojourn was founded by Julia Bonaventure, a Lafayette native whose career has centered on building thoughtful systems and shaping meaningful experiences.
After years spent traveling, learning through food and culture, and building organizations in other industries, she returned to a central question: what would it look like to create a space for intentional gathering in her hometown?
Sojourn is her answer: a place built with care, shaped by global curiosity, and grounded in the belief that thoughtful hospitality can shift the pace of a day.
It reflects her conviction that cultural exchange begins with curiosity and care. That to host well is to listen. And that when approached with integrity, even a simple pot of tea can become a bridge.
