Colombia | Mineral & Crisp
From high in the Andes mountains comes a truly spectacular and complex black tea. Deep, rich soil and generous rainfall in a truly diverse region gives this tea a unique and wonderful character.
Gorgeous, long wiry, slightly tippy leaves when infused give a nice mineral and fruity aroma. The taste is crisp and clean but not super forward. It has the expected high elevation gentleness. It's got a good kick of caffeine making it a great daily breakfast tea, as well.
These tea plants are cared for at an elevation of over 6,000 ft. The tea gardens are located next to a protected rain forest, the Bitaco Regional Forest Reserve, where there is a wide diversity of flora and fauna: over 200 bird species and 700+ species of plants.

Ingredients: Organic black loose tea leaves, cinnamon, ginger root, cardamom, with organic cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla flavors
This Chair begins with our Assam Black and folds in heaps of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and vanilla – all organic and high grade – in the perfect amounts.
What results is a spicy cup, but not overwhelming, with a hint of vanilla sweetness.

This single estate high elevation black tea from Nepal is an exotic tea experience. Grown at over 7000 ft in an organic co-op, this tea has a bright character; woody, fruity, and complex. Lots of silver tips in this lot indicating a super high grade tea.
China | Fermented & Earthy
2012 ripe (shou) loose leaf Yunnan Pu-erh. This exceptional pu-erh is a dark black medium leaf that when infused creates a deep reddish-brown liquor. At once earthy and nutty-sweet, this pu-erh is much more complex than most. Hints of espresso and acorn. Many steepings with this one.
