China | Nutty & Sweet

Our beautiful Long Jing Dragonwell from Zheijiang Province will soothe and refresh.

Broad, flat, bold green leaves create an entrancing golden-green liquor. Rich, nutty, and sweet flavor with a nice rounded finish.

Meticulously plucked in early spring when they are full of aroma and have a silvery shine, careful hands turn and press the leaves in a firing wok until they obtain their characteristically flat shape. The process requires skill to maintain the temperatures needed for superior quality, taste and volume.

Dragonwell (Longjing or Lung Ching) is a delicate green tea known for its gentle, sweet flavor. Dragonwell Green Tea is from eastern China from the providence of Zhejiang. It is famous throughout China for its superior quality and still the most widely known Chinese tea.

The term "Lung Ching" or "Lungching" translates to "Dragon Well.” The tea has taken the name of its village of origin.

Ingredients: Organic green loose tea leaves with toasted brown rice

Also known as Rice Tea or Popcorn Tea, this outstanding cup is produced from this perfect combination of lightly roasted, popped brown rice and high-grade green tea leaf.

This handsome blend is rich and almost brothy with a delightful sweetness on top of its nutty character. Very low in caffeine.

Japan | Roasted, Walnuts

A unique and robust tea made from the toasted twigs and branches of the tea plant. Great for digestion, it can be enjoyed all day and into the evening.

Classified as a green tea, Kukicha is actually made from the stems, stalks, and twigs of the tea plant. Because the caffeine resides in the leaves of the plant, kukicha subsequently has a low caffeine content and is considered practically caffeine free. Kukicha also does not have that classic green tea taste because it does not have any of the leaves' chlorophyll either. Instead, it has a strong roasted aromatics and notes of walnuts.

Japan/China | Nourishing & Smooth

This is a unique blend of organic Chinese and Japanese green teas for a robust, clean, energetic cup.

This blend starts with high mountain Chinese tea, grown on a remote island on Tian Mu Mountain in an old Buddhist Monastery garden. It sets the tone for this deeply satisfying and nourishing blend. Then a good amount of organic Asanoka Sencha is added. This tea is deep steamed, and known for it's superb umami and depth of flavor. We then add a touch of organic Gyokuro, shade finished and provider of the long sweet finish.

All in all, a unique green tea blend designed for a smooth, glorious pick me up in the afternoon. 

China/Oregon | Refreshing & Naturally Cooling

Ingredients: Organic green loose tea leaves and peppermint

The base of this blend is our Chinese Gunpowder tea, with heaps of fresh peppermint leaves from Oregon state.

Traditionally, this tea is served with copious quantities of sugar, but is also delicious unsweetened or lightly sweet with honey. Crisp, naturally cooling and refreshing, this blend makes a very nice and potent iced tea. Expect intense flavor with moderate caffeine.

China | Nutty & Oak

Gunpowder tea is made by rolling dark green tea leaves into small pellets which resemble gunpowder. A traditional favorite of meditating Buddhists (and non-Buddhists), Classic Chinese Pinhead-sized Gunpowder is made of tiny tightly-rolled grey green leaves.

The cup is deep amber with a slightly fruity, smoky-spicy flavor. It is a nice, strong green tea with a distinctive nutty-oak taste. Medium astringency which can be fully mediated with a shorter steeping time, if so desired.

Also called "Temple of Heaven gunpowder" this is the highest grade Gunpowder available and responds well to a short steep. Can be re-steeped.

Ingredients: Organic Sencha green tea with pineapple pieces, rose petals, calendula, safflowers, with organic pineapple and passionfruit flavors

Tropical green tea unlike any other. Well-balanced, nuanced, with a flavorful green tea base and true flavor extracts.

Hand blended in small artisan batches, this tea is meant to please all the senses. Visually stunning with rose petals, marigolds and safflowers, this aromatic tea is also beautiful to watch steep. The perfectly steamed sencha green tea is blended with bunches of pineapple and papaya pieces for a colorful and incredibly delightful tea. This is fantastic chilled tea, as well. Can be re-steeped with great results.

China | Herbaceous, Stonefruit

Nestled in the Tian Mu mountains in the Zhejiang Province, there lies a pristine tea garden that lovingly creates this outstanding green tea. Stylish, long and wiry emerald leaves produce a light green infusion which is quite herbaceous, with distinct honey and peach notes.
