Yaupon, a holly plant native to the North American southeast, is a clean and energizing herb. It is also the only caffeinated herb that grows natively in North America. This Yaupon is wild harvested in Texas, where it can be invasive in local ecosystems. It is similar to Guayusa in flavor profile. We carry the "green version", not the roasted version.
